Major Neil Venables said the organisation was disappointed by the song, which was at odds with its Christian ethos, but hoped people would still buy it.I really don't get that, at "odds" with the Christian ethos? There are a a few jabs at the dogma but at the core of the song lies a message of meaning and the importance of family. This is what I'm repeatedly told is the Christian ethos. Or does it only count if those values are part of the veneration of the silly rituals and superstitions?
